How is other people’s anger towards you and your behaviour over the past decade different from your anger that you are expressing today? Weren’t you being “the jerk” who told people to move on when people were trying to process what you did with their donation money in Thailand? What a coward and buffoon. Lloyd turned off comments for this post once it was clear he wasn’t getting the feedback he wanted.

He turned it off after this fan of his gave his opinion that it was a bad look to rehash this.

I believe how he’d approach this differently is by not doing the livestream, keeping mum about the details and unleashing his goons upon Kim for leaking personal information. The purpose of the livestream was in part due to the latter, but in practical terms he did the livestream because he was angry and sought to normalise his behaviour, particularly with sex workers. He believes that exJWs have a residual Puritanism and knee-jerk aversion to sexual practices which are unorthodox. Visiting sex workers was more like a fetish in his mind, such as using hand cuffs or roleplay. He really harbours a lot of distaste for the very people he claims to represent, constantly labelling as having a JW mindset to those who dare to disagree with him.

In his emails to Dijana, it was clear that he felt that seeking comfort with prostitutes was a normal and rational practice to occur within a marriage. It was like he viewed it as a minor indulgence such as as taking a few extra swigs of whiskey and passing out on the sofa. He was angry he felt forced to rationalise this to his exJW audience and he was going to set them straight and tell them everything, shaming the few (as he thought) who took issue.

His bigger plan was to probably pursue a series of videos identifying what he considered as sexual taboos originating from everyone’s JW past once this had blown over. He felt this period would be no more than 1-2 months. The Andrew Gold interview in March was his attempt to shift this narrative and felt that the secular Gold would be open to accepting his viewpoint on it. Another miscalculation as he didn’t fool Gold on it as he felt he could and it quickly paved the way for more questions which took place in two follow up videos.

As he stated, he never expected the sheer amount of people who had a problem with what he did as it is clear this is a a bit more than half of the exJW community. He also foolishly misjudged the Thailand sex trafficking angle of this and quickly tried to change the subject in the Gold interview.

People didn’t “flip” on him. As others have stated he felt he could just use his opinion to bulldoze any opposition he had as in the pre-2022 days.

“Professor” is a real person. He appeared on livestreams a few years back and is definitely not Lloyd, nor is he a fan of his. He’s issued challenges and criticisms of Lloyd as well.

Why do I get the feeling this is actually Lloyd that doing this to Jake?

Before this takes on a life of its own, let me state empathetically that the person(s) threatening to expose Jake is definitely NOT Lloyd, nor a burner account set up by him or even one of his crazed followers. I know who it is and it’s not Lloyd or anyone affiliated with him.

Jabba the Hutt has correctly deduced that videos like Jake’s are his kryptonite and he must do everything he can to get them taken down. It’s all a part of his ongoing campaign to locate the negative info and either get it removed, or silence/marginalise the party repeating it.

False analogy and notice how he is concerned with “44K views and counting”. He quickly turns his insensitivity towards Jake into others people’s insensitivity toward him. This is how manipulative this slob is.

Again with the “more views”. However, he ignores the root cause of Jake getting more views - him stirring it up, getting personal, and then complaining about people who haven’t watched it seeing for themselves. He’d rather everyone take his POV and STFU.

Jake and all the others who have made videos about him should under no circumstances take them down unless Lloyd can prove a point of contention wrong. This he refuses to do for the simple reason that he can’t.

It's a very childish and unconvincing strategy

To put it mildly. What I see is him blowing a huge opportunity to come across as the voice of reason and even elicit sympathy.

In true Lloyd fashion, he drills a hole right through the bottom of the boat and wonders why it’s sinking.

For example, here’s what I would have said:

”I am aware of the discussion round Jake ‘altworldly’. I have always been a deep believer in privacy and this is no different. Though Jake and I had a falling out over this in the past, my only concern is for Jake and his wife’s mental health. Therefore, I have no comment and urge people to respect Jake’s privacy”

Diverts attention AWAY from his actions and towards Jake’s, also making himself seem magnanimous in comparison. The perfect crime.

Instead he launches a broadside attack against Jake and exposes his own vulnerabilities. There’s still a bit of overlap between Jake’s followers and Lloyd’s. Probably shouldn’t say this here, but I will:

The reason there wasn’t a Magnificent 8 with Jake included was due to a mutual follower of both parties interceding in favour of Jake. Lloyd was already paying more than he wished for the litigation anyway and he didn’t take much convincing to drop one to save money.

This is what I mean about blown opportunities. But Lloyd would rather have gotten his petty digs in instead.

He’s known as altworldly.

The “lie” Lloyd refers is in the first 2 minutes where Jake says this video is not an attempt to cancel/defame/etc Lloyd. Then he plays a clip from the Maury Povich “we have determined this is a lie” shows.

So Lloyd is holding Jake to a literal interpretation on a joke he made and is calling him a liar.

The only thing this did for Lloyd is:

remind people of what he did in Thailand and over the years to his wife
demonstrate that he still expresses no remorse for what he did
inadvertently forced people to compare what Jake did vis-à-vis Lloyd
display the very toxicity, judgmentalism and in-fighting he always complained about going on against him on his own social media against another popular activist
As if the Sisak court already didn’t have enough evidence this is a vendetta for Lloyd, here’s more concerning someone he mailed a legal threat letter to.

He just cracked a Jabba the Hutt sized hole in his legal case for effectively doing the same thing he’s accusing the defendants of to Jake out of retaliation and spite. And the cherry on top is that he says he’s “seething”.

That's not all he wanted. Even whilst he was a believing and practicing JW, he had multiple online relationships going which did not end when he got married. It appears the idea of promiscuity appealed to him, and quickly delegated her to the role of JW housewife once the honeymoon period wore off, if there ever really was one. I can totally see him on their Croatian honeymoon slipping away into the hotel lobby to check up on his msgs.

His wording in his book regarding his wife was interesting in regard to how he explained she reacted when a couple of his bombshells hit. Here's his explanation when she caught him sexting in 2009:

As you would expect, Dijana was devastated. She assumed all of this somehow reflected on her as a wife. If I was engaging in online sexual encounters with other women, then in her mind, I must have no feelings for her whatsoever. I pleaded with her that this was not the case; that I loved her and wanted to be with her, but I was fighting powerful inner urges and needed help

Here's what he said about her reaction when he revealed to her less than one year later about his doubts about the organisation in his letter dated 1 January 2010:

Though still a believer, she understood that my doubts were genuine. Her only concern was whether I might be using them as a pretext to leave her, but I was able to convince her this was not the case. I really was losing my faith, but it did not have to mean the end of our relationship.

These two passages are frankly amazing in my opinion, for the simple fact that it was HER who was worried about losing HIM. Especially when she caught him sexting someone, shouldn't it be the other way round? Shouldn't he be the one thinking she might leave? It strikes me odd that in his telling, she was worried on both occasions that Lloyd would leave her when in reality, he was the one with explaining to do. After all, it was her parent's home they were living in, and he was the one bringing apostate ideas there. But she was worried about this underemployed and unattractive man leaving her.

It could be his general dishonesty in making it seem she was so into him to leave her that worried. But from what I know of the two, her reactions as explained in his book feel like a plausible explanation of how their relationship worked. After all, after being caught in Texas, didn't he pledge to still love her, "despite all your faults"?

This is a textbook sign of emotional abuse and in particular a pattern of him attacking her sense of self-esteem to the point where she felt that she needed him more than he needed her.
